I have now watched all of the GOP convention and 2 nights of the DNC convention and I’m coming up with these conclusions: The Gop speakers talk about the problems and what the other guy is doing wrong but are not offering solutions. Could it be the solutions would mean facing up to hard realities. The DNC speakers tell about the wonderful giveaway programs they have managed to get approved through congress over the last 3 years but offer no solutions as to the real problems that are looming.
The Fox News scenario below written by Wayne Allen Root is one of the best descriptions I have seen as to the looming crisis. These are all common sense statements, verifiable, and if you are a sensible American Citizen you will take heed of these warnings and prepare yourself for what could/will happen. The only thing he should have added is the difference between the large farming economy of 1929 and the industrialized city communities of today is that people will not be prepared to take care of themselves and chaos could run rampant on the streets of America. Gov’t will not be able to take care of us, is a true statement. Most cities, states and the Federal Gov’t is bankrupt, the Federal Gov’t just hasn’t announced it yet.

Perhaps America’s politicians and economists should have paid attention to an entrepreneur and small businessman that has been warning of economic collapse and a new Great Depression publicly for over two years.

A first-run film that casts new light on Barack Obama’s radical roots already is setting box-office records while an upcoming release that could also unsettle the White House is expected to draw a strong audience.
In the eve of the Republican National Convention, “2016: Obama’s America” is scheduled for showing in 1,074 theaters, approximately one of every four theaters in the U.S., said Jason Jones, president of Movie to Movement, the non-profit organization promoting the film.

With no abnormal conflict in the mideast, No OPEC to blame, no broken pipelines, no oil spill in the gulf, no logical reason that we can point the finger at, we are seeing an alarming increase in the cost of a gallon of gas, why?
10% of gas at the pump has to be ethanol by federal law.
Drought = less corn = higher prices for corn.
Same demand for fuel with out good corn supply means higher prices.
So why are we burning 30% of our corn for fuel and driving up corn, beef, and other related prices?
Congress is stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid…. I could go on and on, but they still wouldn’t get it.

“Chrysler continued its comeback last quarter by posting $436 million in profits,” Team Obama tweeted out with the hashtag, #MadeInAmerica, on Monday.
The campaign did not mention that Fiat, an Italian car company, bought a controlling stake in Chrysler from the U.S. Treasury in 2011.

President Barack Obama tried to get the Rev. Jeremiah Wright to tone down the rhetoric in 2008. Ed Klein told nearly 2,000 conservatives and libertarians who jammed the main ballroom at FreedomFest last week several shocking stories he heard while conducting the nearly 200 interviews that formed the basis of his bestselling book, The Amateur: Barack Obama in the White House. But none was more gripping than what he learned during his three-hour interview with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Obama’s longtime pastor in Chicago.
“At first I had no interest in talking to Rev. Wright,” Klein told us. “But several African-Americans I spoke with said he had a story I had to hear.” Somewhat to his surprise, Wright not only agreed to meet with Klein but gave him permission to record the interview.
During their talk, Wright told Klein that Barack Obama was “steeped in Islam” when he first met him, but knew little about Christianity. “Barack and Michelle are not church people,” Wright said. “They didn’t even send their daughters to Sunday School.” Continue reading
Gun carrying man ends stabbing spree at Salt Lake grocery store
SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) – A citizen with a gun stopped a knife wielding man as he began stabbing people Thursday evening at the downtown Salt Lake City Smith’s store.
Police say the suspect purchased a knife inside the store and then turned it into a weapon. Smith’s employee Dorothy Espinoza says, “He pulled it out and stood outside the Smiths in the foyer. And just started stabbing people and yelling you killed my people. You killed my people.”
Espinoza says, the knife wielding man seriously injured two people. “There is blood all over. One got stabbed in the stomach and got stabbed in the head and held his hands and got stabbed all over the arms.”
Then, before the suspect could find another victim – a citizen with a gun stopped the madness. “A guy pulled gun on him and told him to drop his weapon or he would shoot him. So, he dropped his weapon and the people from Smith’s grabbed him.”

And I would point you to the numerous initiatives put forward by the Jobs Council that this administration under the president’s direction has taken action, presidential memorandum of August of last year that selected 14 job creating high-priority infrastructure projects for expedited review. Four of those are already under construction.
